Terms You Should Know

New Terms, Prase-ology and LINE Speak

LINE ME

“LINE ME” is what you say when you want someone to send you a message via LINE.

LINE IS A VERB

Use LINE like you would a verb. “I LINED him yesterday”. Or “She was LINING me a snap video”.

LINERS

“LINERS” are people who use LINE to chat and communicate with their friends.

NOT “ON LINE”

Don’t say “On Line” when talking about LINE, as in “I was on LINE yesterday”. People will think you are referring to surfing the web. Say “I was LINE Chatting”, or “I was chatting with LINE”, or “I was LINING my friend, yesterday.” Less confusion is a good thing.

GET IN MY LINE

“Get in my LINE” is a way of saying “Follow me” or “Invite me as a Friend”.

STICKER BOMB

A “sticker bomb” is what you do to get someone’s attention. Using LINE’s stickers, send three to four stickers in a row to your friend. Her phone will blow up with sounds and vibrations.
